Photography Classes & Prices

​Private Lessons - Film or Digital

      Start at $25 per hour, based on the structure of the class. Tailored to fit needs of the student.



​Novice I  - $80, two 2-hour classes per week for 4 weeks (includes 2 rolls of film; 25 sheets of 8x10 RC Glossy paper)

      Class covers basic camera features with emphasis on:

   - exposure techniques

   - darkroom procedures

   - film and photo processing.



​Novice II - $90, two 2-hour classes per week for 4 weeks (includes 2 rolls of film; 25 sheets of 8x10 RC Glossy paper)

     Continuation of Novice I class, focusing on further study in darkroom processes and camera techniques.               Introduces student to:

   - double negatives

   - creative borders

   - filters

   - different lighting situations



​Intermediate - $100, two 2-hour classes per week for 4 weeks (includes 2 rolls of film; 25 sheets of 8x10 RC Glossy or Fiber paper)

    Continuation of film study focusing on:

   - specific paper selections

   - toners

   - hand painting 

   - textures

   - dramatic lighting situations 



​Advanced - $120, two 2-hour classes per week for 4 weeks (includes 2 rolls of film; 25 sheets of 8x10 RC Glossy or Fiber paper)

     Specific themes and studies; this class is portfolio focused, including studies in:

   - film experimentation

   - mixed media techniques

   - mastery of exposure



​Alternative Processes - TBD

  This class is intended to be broken into various workshops. More information to come.
